WHO WE ARE

Based in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, 377 Builders began as a group of friends with compatible skills and a love of building. After several successful collaborations, we developed a vision based on cooperation and shared ownership and we decided to try our hand at creating our own company.

Inspired by cooperative and employee-owned businesses, we forged a profit-sharing business model to encourage our team to grow as craftspeople, innovators, and individuals, and to energize our people to reinvest in our business.

All of the owners and many of our employees have been in the Berkshires our whole lives, and we have chosen to build families and careers here as adults. Because this is our chosen home, we are deeply invested not only in the craft of building beautiful and sustainable buildings but in our mission to construct meaningful work and a sense of community within our company.
